Within 24 hours of landing in DC from Las Vegas after our glamping vacation with Ansh and family, we went to a concert. It was not just any concert though. It was an Imagine Dragons concert! We went with Dominic and his family.
When we got there the line was very long but Mitali auntie, Aadi, and Maya (who also came to the concert) had been standing in line and saving us a spot, so it took less time then it would have. Also Clive and his family were somewhere in the crowd but we didn’t see them. It was raining all the time we were there. Paco uncle took a 2 trash bags and cut holes in it so that Dominic and I could use as ponchos.
The place had the stage and a hill leading down to it. In front of the stage were rows of seats but those who didn’t get seats sat on the lawn. We decided to get lawn seats. After we set up our picnic mat, Paco Uncle took us to get t-shirt souvenirs. Imagine Dragons 🐉 didn’t come first in the concert but they sent another singer out called Kings Elliot. Dominic and I didn’t like her very much and wanted Imagine Dragons to come. The person who they sent after her was better. He was a rapper named Macklemore and his songs were very good. Baba slept through his music though because he had a little too much to drink 🍺 and he wanted to be fully awake for the main band.
After a long time, Imagine Dragons came on stage. They were awesome and performed very well! My favorite song they did was Radioactive but they also played the song Sharks 🦈 very well (check it out on youtube). The concert took us until midnight but it was worth it.
The concert was super amazing 🤩 and Imagine Dragons sang a lot of their best songs. While it was good it ended at 12:00 and Dominic and I had to get up at 7:35 the next day for summer camp. 💤
It rained the whole time but didnt dampen our spirits
