Finally Aadvik sat down last Saturday to write about his India trip he took in August.
Here is his version that he dictated.
After my holiday with Amma-Baba in Switzerland, we flew to New Delhi. First I went to Oma Dadu's house in Faridabad. The first day, I saw a monkey on the roof of someone else's house. Kaku-Kaki and Omamashi came to Delhi also and we had a party at Oma Dadu's home on a friday night.
On Saturday, I went to Amma's best friends house for my friend Aadrita's birthday. I got a goody bag with a captain america fidget spinner and when I was getting ready to go back to Oma-Dadu's house, I got a lego ninjago book with a Sensei Wu mini figure and Lloyd's green ninja mech lego.
Oma and Dadu had a light that I liked which was on the ceiling. It played music and lit up in different colors. One day when me and Oma were home alone we made a volcano with sand and red food color as fire. I also went to a new restaurant called Soda Bottle Opener Wala with Oma and Dadu and liked reading my Ninja book there.
Then one day, I went to Amma's elementary school. I saw pictures of Krishna and Ganesha and met Amma's teachers who gave me candy. I also did Ganesha puja at home with Oma, Dadu and Amma.
Day before going to Bangalore, I stayed at my friend Aadrita's place and lifted weights in her gym park.
After Delhi I went to Bangalore. I stayed with Kavya aunty, Junior Thatha and Mamtha Ajji. I showed them my Sensei Wu lego mini figure and I watched the rest of the grown ups Avengers movie with Kavya aunty which was funny. I also watched the Aqua man movie with Kavya aunty.
I met Vrushank and Vaishak and played in the sand and built mountains. I gave Vrushank a lego batman joker balloon escape toy. I gave Vaishak a dump truck and lego cars 3 toy. I got pencil, pencil stand, sharpener and Birbal and Tenalirama books from them.
I also met Nalini ajji and Chakku Muttaji in their homes and got a scooter and some money as gifts.
I again went to Soda Bottle Opener wala with Thatha's brothers, sisters and Ammas's cousins in Bangalore and ate yummy grilled cheese sandwich.
My favorite things to do in India were riding auto rickshaws, watching different animals on the road and on rooftops and reading Suppandi fiction books.
Then finally I went home to Washington DC on September 1 excited to build my Green Ninja Lloyd mech that I was gifted by Amma's friend.
