Deepawali was last thursday on October 19th, day after my school field trip. Amma came back early from work and then Baba, I, Amma, and Thatha dressed up in indian clothes and lit up the house with small candles and electric lights. We did this on choti deepawali and the day before choti deepawali too but on main Deepawali day we also did lakshmi puja. My friend Arya and Oma-Dadu's friend Kuhu Omamashi also came to celebrate the festival with us.
