On May 17, 2019, me, Amma and Baba went camping with Dominic and his dad Paco uncle to Camp Bennett.
Dominic brought his axe and his own multi use tool. Baba let me use his multi use tool. Multi use tools have scissors, knives, pliers, saw. I used mine for cutting leaves. Paco uncle set up a tarp in between our two tents to shelter us if rain comes. Dominic’s tent was on the back of his pick up truck. Our tent was on the ground.
Dominic and I spied on some kids playing laser tag in the laser tag ground inside the camp ground. We had also brought our guitars 🎸 and we played in front of invisible audience (the only audience that was there was Amma, Baba, and Paco uncle - the big crowd was invisible)
Paco uncle and Baba set up a campfire where they cooked chorizo, hot dog buns which me and Dominic had for dinner.
After dinner we heard a story by Baba about this ghost called John and he turned Dominic’s camp light on to the red setting which made it look spooky like an actual horror story.
On the next day we went on a specific spy mission to find where camp store is and what time it opens so we could ice cream. We failed on trying to figure out where the store is a bunch of times even with a map. Then finally I recognized the parking lot from a distance and we went there.
Then i went for a hike with Dominic and Amma towards a lake but we had to come back for breakfast which was being cooked by Baba and Paco uncle.
We had eggs, ham and sausages and bread with butter. Then we went for a hike again with Paco uncle, Amma and Dominic. Where we went, there were no hike signs and we had no idea what was there ( I came up with the idea of hiking there). We saw roots on a fallen down tree that were as big as our tent! ( it must have taken a really big axe to chop that down).
Then Baba packed up the tent and we left for the spring fling carnival at my school.
In conclusion I had an awesome possum day. Watch the video of Dominic and I strumming a few songs after some pictures shown below.
