On April 2, my birthday party continued but in the National Building Museum with 15 additional friends who celebrated with me by building an awesome Lego party.
Preparation for this party actually began even before Baba's 40th party when this museum was booked for the Lego themed party. And all week leading up to my birthday Amma, Baba and I were busy preparing the various themed items for the party, such as designing/cutting/sticking lego faces on water bottles, buying lego cutlery, batman plates,napkins etc.... and wrapping lego goody bags with personalized messages to each friend and Lego batman sticker. Ansh and Aria's Amma- Baba also helped Baba the night before the party by making sugar cookies look like lego blocks.
This time I had to do so many chores for my own party but enjoyed the final event a lot especially my edible Lego Gotham city cake! I wish I did not have to cut it and could just have it with me always to play with my legos on it.
All the guests also got free passes to explore other museum exhibits so me and my friends moved the after party to another play and build room and continued until the museum closed down for the day.
