The first thing I did in Delhi was throw up at the airport. I had eaten something with nuts on the plane so I had a reaction. After we got out of the airport, we went to Oma, Dadu’s house. There Oma gave me chocolate muffins and made a Christmas cake. We also went to the mall and bought a small Christmas tree. The next day, I woke up and got presents. I got a Star Wars book from Oma-Dadu and another book from Amma and Baba. These were the only presents I got because the rest were at my home. For lunch we went to an amazing restaurant called Jamun where I ate Indian food that I had never seen before. They were also able to accommodate for my nut allergy very well. We also met Gita Ajji and Uma Ajji at the restaurant. After lunch, we went to Delhi Haat to buy holiday gifts for my teachers. I gave them all Madhubani painting coasters and gave my band teacher an Ektara and got one for myself also. Later, Amma and Baba went out to meet their friends while I stayed home. The next day, I fell sick and slept for over 12 hours. I fell sick because of the pollution in Delhi. I felt better the day after so I went on a drive with Oma and Dadu in which they showed me the landmarks of Delhi. After that, we went to the mall but this time to meet up Gita Ajji and Uma Ajji one last time before we left. We also met one of Amma's friends at the mall and met two of Baba's friends for dinner just before out flight on Friday night. I had an allergic reaction there at Baba's friends place too and threw up because I ate a meat patty with nuts bought from a restaurant. But the nut free parathas that Baba's friend, Adhish's cook made were very good though. I also met Baba's friend Adhish's dogs, Bruno and Tiny. After that dinner, we flew home. It was a good Delhi trip (despite falling sick and having 2 allergic reactions) and I hope to meet them all again.
