Yep... that's right - I turn ONE today. I have a feeling this is a BIG deal! Probably more so for my parents than for me - after all what do I know, I'm just 12 months ... I mean 1 year old.But before spending a lot of time on turning one, let's take a look at this last month. It had a lot of things changing, such as:
- I get to wear these things called shoes on my feet. They are great fun, as they have little knots on them and I can stop and open the knots anytime I want.
- Also, Amma and Baba took me to a place called a saloon and they cut off my hair. Now it doesn't cover my eyes!
- Then my friend Anushka showed me this fun place at her apartment - it is all outside and has fun things to climb on, swing from, and slide down. I think it's called a playground. Oh! Also, the swing moves so much more than the ones they have in my school. What fun!
- Finally, I found some music that is really great. I now ask people to turn it on whenever I'm down for playing and have a little dance. I first heard this kind of music at the Children's Museum of Manhattan - when we went there with Baba's school friends (I still don't understand how Baba went to school - he's too big!).
As usual my personal paparazzi has provided photographs of everything that occurred.
Stay tuned for details about my BIG ONE Bash happening today!
