On April 1, 2020 I turned 9.
I was going to go to school and have everyone in class sing for me and get a birthday book but it was closed for Covid 19. But my schools virtual AETV telecast ( they send every Wednesday) on YouTube that morning announced my birthday and I was wished by the vice principal. They also said I will get my birthday book when school opens again.
In the morning, when I came down stairs ( in a Harry Potter costume) there was a big number 9 balloon and Harry Potter’s Gryffindor house color 🏡 balloons 🎈 near the dinning table. Also there were gifts 🎁 on the table. I Skyped with Oma , Dadu, Kaku and Kaki, and cut my first cake and I also opened their gifts 🎁. Alia sent me a funny video to wish me. Amma, Baba, and Thatha gave me a 💯 100 dollar 💵 Harry Potter lego called the great 👍🏽 hall. I also got the Elderwand toy from Amma and Baba and a book called the Marauders map 🗺 - a guide to Hogwarts.
Thatha gave me a card that he had designed and printed in Bangalore. Amma-Baba also gave me a Harry Potter birthday card.
Alia, Kaku and Kaki gave me a Harry Potter lego called the Hungarian Horntail and another Harry Potter lego called Expecto Patronum . Oma and Dadu gave me a book 📖 on how to build arts 🎭 and crafts robots 🤖. After cutting a big cake 🎂 that I liked we went to deliver to all my friends living in Maryland.
We also delivered desserts to my cousins Ananya-Amisha, Maverick, Dominic and Sheila Ajji and Paddu Ajji in California and friends Anushka in Seattle, Ansh in New Jersey, Sohom, Aadi-Maya and Ash in Virginia through Door dash delivery service. We delivered desserts to 18 families in the US. Outside US was difficult to send because of Covid-19.
At lunch I had a virtual party 🎉 on zoom. Their were 44 people from 3 continents and 4 countries on the zoom meeting. I cut a small cake and ate a piece of it while the others on zoom ate theirs that we had sent them.
Baba set up a Harry Potter activity for the kids ( including me ). In the activity we made a fake wizard 🧙♂️ name and typed it into the box that said 🧙♂️ wizard name. Then we had to select a patronus which is a thing that drives a Harry Potter creature called a dementor away. Then you had to select a fantastic beast which was any magical creature. Everyone did the activity and liked it.
Then I had lunch ordered from my favorite Silver Diner, watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and opened rest of my gifts given by cousins and Ajjis in California, cousins Vrushank and Vyshak in UK and all the friends who were on zoom 🎁.
