Scenic road trip in the mountains, intro to radio astronomy at the National Radio
Astronomy Observatory in WV, viewing of the world largest moving radio
telescope, short slumber party watching a movie, zip lining, eurobungy,
rock climbing, scenic ski lift rides and peddle boating in the snowshoe
mountain resort ....this past weekend getaway could not have gotten any better for me and my schoolmates. We had too much fun!
In the radio astronomy exhibit, we also saw an experiment with liquid
nitrogen where a balloon when dipped in liquid nitrogen became crisp
like paper and went back to being a balloon as soon as it was pulled
out. The demonstrator also poured liquid nitrogen on the floor for us to
see, and what looked like water in the bucket turned
into a cold white cloud all over and vanished as we were trying to jump on it to feel the cold air! It was so cool!
And
in the snowshoe mountains, while I and my friends tried out eurobungy
and ski lift rides that was allowed based on age and weight, our Ammas
and Babas tried rock climbing and zip lining while we cheered for them.
Take a look at all the pics and a video of me cheering Amma zip line over me...
