This year we celebrated Durga Puja and Navaratri in a new city and with new friends - actually with Oma and Dadu's friends.
First we went to a Durga Puja at a Bengali temple called Kaali Badi where I saw my favorite Ganesha along with his brother and his Amma. While the arati and puja was going on I had a good nap and then woke up in a South Indian temple called Shiva-Vishnu temple where again I saw Ganesha in many sizes and colors and also saw the nicely decorated Navaratri Golu.
Both the temples apparently had delicious prasad and the south Indian temple was actually selling the prasad separately too which Amma bought as her food for the next three days!
